Olive + June Cyber Week Sale

A few weeks ago, the people behind the scenes at Olive & June, an LA-based nail salon, sent me a special holiday manicure kit called the “Treat Yourself Box” with nine different colors to treat myself with (no pun intended) for the holiday season. Even though Christmas is not for another month, I decided to have a little fun of my own and paint my nails a bold red color and both ring fingers with one sparkly gold and the other sparkly silver (yes I’m someone who mixes silver and gold together, it’s more fun that way!), giving off a festive and merry vibe. I normally don’t get into the spirit of the season till after Thanksgiving, but the Christmas lovin’ chica within came out a lot sooner than expected and I’m now getting more excited as it gets closer! And lemme just say that my festive manicure looked fabulous with my cinnamon dolce latte, that’s for sure!

And this past weekend, I decided to change it up a bit again. My best friend and roommate Abby just turned 21, and all of us roommates decided to coordinate outfits by wearing all black. So I thought it would be only appropriate to paint my nails with the black nail polish included in the holiday kit. It honestly may have been the first time I’ve ever painted my nails with a straight-up black nail polish … and I loved it! Something about it made me feel super badass 🔥 I also let Abby borrow the gold nail polish for her birthday, and lemme just say that she KILLED it on her first night out as a legal woman!
