Great Christian Books for Summer Reading

Hey, loves! Now that it’s summertime, I’m sure some of y’all who love reading books want to find something new to read while laying out in the sun! I will be honest when I say I’m not the biggest book reader and often get distracted by other things when I do try to read 😂 But when summer comes along, something about sitting outside in warm weather with a book in one hand and coffee in the other (or a frozen margarita if I’m at the beach, lol!) makes me feel super content! I love Christian books especially because they’re so encouraging and speak so much truth, and it helps me to stay more focused in God’s presence.

So without further ado, I’d like to share with y’all some good Christian books for summer reading!

What I’m Currently Reading …

  • “What Happens When Women Say Yes to God” by Lysa Terkeurst

I found this for only $8.00 a Hobby Lobby. I’m not that far into it but I’m already so invested in it and feel so encouraged! I love Lysa Terkeurst and her books. She’s very vulnerable and transparent about her life, and the way she shares her love for Jesus inspires me, especially as an aspiring writer myself. I’ve been feeling a lot of uncertainty and fear of what my future holds lately, but reading this has so far been encouraging me to be bold in my faith and to say yes to Him. I recommend this book to any woman who may be feeling the same right now!
