Somewhere On The (Laguna) Beach

Sun’s out, guns out. Good thing I took the time to exercise and stay in shape while on vacation to fit into my new bathing suit! 

On our third day in Southern California, we made a trip to Laguna Beach, one of the coolest and most beautiful beaches in the world. I got to enjoy the sunshine and God’s creation even more with my new picante red bikini from Target! 

This two-piece swimsuit cost $27.99, and I bought it using my $25 birthday gift card. It was a fair and necessary purchase since I was going on vacation the following week. I’m very happy that I got it for myself, it makes me feel confident and bold! Red is my favorite color and I think it looks great on me. We all have that one special color that makes us stand out! 

I also paired the swimsuit with my favorite silver hoop earrings and Ray-Ban sunglasses for an even more chic and bold look. 

This had to be one of my favorite photoshoots yet. My sister is an amazing photographer (these pics we’re actually taken in portrait mode on an iPhone!) The rocks on the shore of the beach are amazing and majestic in every shape and form. I felt like Ariel from The Little Mermaid ! 

To this day, I still love the idea of being a mermaid! Maybe someday I’ll be a part of that world ... Although the idea of how big and mysterious the ocean is freaks me out. But I’d be more than happy to layout on the beach all day long! #mermaidoffduty
