No Christmas is complete without a holiday movie marathon! Watching these movies is one of my absolute favorite things about Christmas. I just enjoy watching classics, some super old and some sort of new, with family and friends while we sip warm, hot chocolate!

I have the perfect line-up for all the Christmas movies I watch practically every year, so hopefully some of them will be in your next movie marathon! Here are some short descriptions and clips from the movies to interest you (WARNING: Some spoilers if you haven't seen the movies):

1.) Elf (2003)

Favorite Quote: "The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear!"

Hands down, best Christmas movie ever! I think everyone can quote every line pretty well.

2.) How the Grinch Stole Christmas! (1966)

Favorite Quote: "He puzzled and puzzed till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before. Maybe Christmas he thought ... doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas perhaps, means a little bit more!"

I absolutely love anything related to the Grinch! Although I'm not a crazy fan about the Jim Carrey version, I think the 1966 classic is the best. Me and my sister were always so obsessed with this movie that we even watched it in the summer when we were little!

3.) It's a Wonderful Life (1946)

Favorite Quote: "No man is a failure who has friends."

This movie may be super long and boring at first, but it has such a meaningful life message. Imagine if you were never born, life wouldn't be as special without the ones you love! I truly recommend this watching this, it may bring an uplifting sense of pride and love.

4.) Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (1964)

Favorite Quote: "Ahh. I love this Christmasy time of year. Especially when everything is running happy and smooth, like it is this season. Nothing like that year of the big snow storms."

I love Rankin-Bass Christmas movies, and this is one of my top favorites. When I was little, I used to believe Hermey the Elf made all of my toys! Even though he's technically a dentist ...

5.) The Year Without a Santa Claus (1974)

Favorite Quote: "Now, now, Doctor. It's not just presents and you know it. What about all that Christmas spirit and good will?"

One does simply not watch this movie and not sing along to the Snow Miser and Heat Miser songs!

6.) Santa Claus is Coming to Town (1970)

Favorite Quote: "You better watch out. You better not cry. You better not pout. I'm telling you why! Santa Claus is coming to town!"

Ever wondered how Santa Claus started out and became the legend we know today? Watch this 1970 classic and find out all the reasons through song and storytelling!

7.) Frosty the Snowman (1969)

Favorite Quote: "Happy Birthday!"

This short TV special was actually been my second favorite Christmas movie after How the Grinch Stole Christmas! when I was little. I don't consider this my second favorite anymore, but it still managed to stay in the top ten!

8.) The Polar Express (2004)

Favorite Quote: "Seeing is believing, but sometimes the most real things in the world are the things we can't see."

Nothing can be more magical than the story of The Polar Express. Tom Hanks is truly one of the world's greatest actors to exist, and this Christmas movie has a great message to believing in anything.

9.) Mickey's Christmas Carol (1983)

Favorite Quote: "God bless us, everyone!"

You have probably seen various versions of A Christmas Carol, and this one is my absolute favorite! Of course it's because it's a Disney version, I'll watch anything made by Disney. Also Mickey Mouse is one of my favorite cartoon characters and even spirit animals.

10.) A Charlie Brown Christmas (1965)

Favorite Quote: "Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown!"

We all need a Charlie Brown break every once in a while, so why not a Christmas-themed one? No more good griefs!
